Arrábida – Alentejo Coast

(2 or 3 days) – Min. 6 people  (availability - all days)

 

Day 1 - Departure from Cascais by 09:30 hours bound for the south of the Tagus river, passing through the magnificent  25th of April bridge from which one sees the colossal mouth of the largest river in Portugal.

Already off road, we go along trails in the  Caparica area leading to Meco, passing by the Lagoa de Albufeira, where "our" adventurers have the opportunity of enjoying the wonderful scenery and, if time permits, indulge and refresh with a swim in the sea.

From the area of Meco we reach Cape Espichel with its famous lighthouse and fortress / monastery on the cliff.

Lunch in the area of Meco.

 

After lunch the outing leads us to  Setúbal with an afternoon in Sesimbra and the nearby beaches of Arrábida.

 

The journey continues with a crossing of the Sado river on a ferrie boat in order to  get to Troy.

 

Upon leaving Troy the trail leads to the beautiful village of Cercal do Alentejo, with dinner and overnight in the area.

 

 

Day 2 - On the road again after breakfast and briefing to enjoy a full day of magnificent paths, trails and dirt roads in the Alentejo area of  Cercal , Vila Nova de Milfontes and Santiago do Cacém.

 

Return to Cascais at the end of the day.

 

Price per person € 360.00

 

Includes: Vehicle, fuel, 3 meals, accommodation in double room(s) with breakfast and a brief intruduction to TT (4x4-off road) driving.
